Stuart Appleby Joins 59 Club

Stuart Appleby walked in his final putt on the 18th hole at the 2010 Greenbrier Classic. The putt dropped for a birdie, a victory and the fifth 59 in PGA Tour history.

The same day Paul Goydos fired his opening-round 59 at the 2010 John Deere Classic, Steve Stricker shot a 60. Stricker went on to win the tournament by two shots over Goydos.

David Duval eagled his 72nd hole at the 1999 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic to win the event and join the 59 Club.

Chip Beck shot his 59 in the third round at the 10-month-old Sunrise Golf Club in Las Vegas. He was the second player to break 60 in a PGA event, but some said his round was tainted because the course conditions were too easy.
