Nike, Inc. announced that 21-year company veteran Daric Ashford will be the new President of Nike Golf, effective immediately. Over the years Ashford has held a number of senior managements positions in retail and sales at Nike, including Jordan Brand.
“Daric’s leadership has helped to deliver strong revenue growth and expand the Jordan Brand. His proven track record, along with his experience in global categories, makes him ideally suited to leading the Golf business,” said Jayme Martin, VP, GM Global Categories.
Ashford replaces Cindy Davis, who was President of Nike Golf since 2008. Davis, who announced her retirement last month, started at Nike as general manager in 2004. She was the only woman to date to be named president of a major golf equipment company.
