Pro golfers have very different expectations than your average hacker.
On his tee shot on the notorious 17th at TPC Sawgrass, Thai pro Kiradech Aphibarnrat hit what he assumed was a bad shot. He scoffed after his swing and looked annoyed. Thing is, the ball crossed the water and landed just a few feet from the hole. His expression didn’t really change as he watched the trajectory of the kind of shot that most amateurs would die to make.
Aphibarnrat knocked his shot to 3 feet, 11 inches and tapped it in for birdie. Jason Day is still in sole possession of the lead after shooting a record-tying 63.
