If you have kids or are a kid at heart, Orlando means one thing: Walt Disney World. But there’s also Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, Sea World, Gatorland, dozens of other theme and water parks and, oh yeah, golf. Lots of golf. Take your pick from more than 170 courses (Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill, Falcon’s Fire, Reunion) and 20-plus top-shelf instruction acadamies (David Leadbetter’s World Headquarters at ChampionsGate, Brad Brewer Golf Academy at Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Club, Grand Cypress Academy of Golf). The Big O doesn’t lack for accommodations, either, with hotel choices including JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, the Waldorf Astoria, and the family-friendly Villas of Grand Cypress. Of course if your Mickey-mad kids are with you, don’t count on getting much shuteye.

But our readers clearly appreciate the significant upside of a family trip to the Aloha State: glorious beaches and whale sightings, fresh pineapple for breakfast and an incomparable setting for golf.
