KEY TECHNOLOGIES: SureFit Tour hosel allows for independent loft and lie adjustment. Forged face provides fast ball speeds on off-center hits. The 913D3 is best for higher-swing-speed players seeking a lower spin rate.

Very consistent, good length on solid hits; gives what you need off the tee with lots of confidence; more than long enough.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: One of the highest rated in the test; distance loss on off-center hits is minimal, and accuracy is surprisingly good; very few wild shots, just plenty of fairways.
FEEL: This is one of its greatest strengths—it lets testers know how well they’ve hit it without a lot of unwanted vibration; two thumbs up for its absolutely pure feel.
PLAYABILITY: Testers can play any shot they desire with this stick; produces a somewhat low, piercing trajectory that’s controllable time after time.
LOOK: Many believe it’s as good as it gets—traditional, classy design without undesirable bling; great shape and a nice paint job; the deep face makes it very easy to line up behind the ball.

A few testers say it produces adequate length but wouldn’t describe it as a bomber; launch and trajectory are not as high as some guys might like.

BOTTOM LINE: One of the top-rated Tour drivers. It’s an excellent performer in just about every category.

HOT STIX'S TAKE: Launch – Low; Spin – Low
