Lift 23 derived its name from its first mission — to lift the spirits of 23,000 homeless children in New York City shelters by donating a pair of socks for every pair of ski socks sold.
The company’s golf sock is made of a merino wool-acrylic blend, with a nylon bottom and elastane and spandex in the arch for a secure fit. The antimicrobial, moisture-wicking materials keep feet comfortable throughout the round. For every pair of golf socks sold, Lift 23 gives a portion of profits to the PGA of America’s HOPE program, which provides golf as a rehabilitation tool for veterans, or donates a pair of socks to a veteran recovering in a VA hospital. (It’s easy to get behind a philanthropic company like this one. Its mission is exemplary, and the cushioned, supportive socks feel great on the links.)
The socks are available for men in white-gray, black-white and white-navy, and for women in white-green, black-gray and white-orange. $15.95/pair; lift23.com
