TOKYO (AP) — Japanese teenager Ryo Ishikawa said Friday he has received an invitation to play in the PGA Championship in August at Whistling Straits.
Ishikawa, who earlier this month shot a 12-under 58 – the lowest score ever on a major tour – is also scheduled to compete in the U.S. Open next month and the British Open in July.
The 18-year-old Ishikawa will play in all four majors for the first time in his career. He missed the cut at this year’s Masters by a stroke.
Ishikawa has won seven tournaments in Japan and took the 2009 Japan tour money title.
