Bubba Watson is selling one of his classic cars at the same place he purchased the General Lee from the 1980s television show “Dukes of Hazzard.”
The car is inspired by the 1939 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk Custom Roadster. Watson will be selling it during the 2015 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction from Jan. 10-18 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The car will be on the block at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16.
Watson bought the General Lee at Barrett-Jackson in 2012 for $110,000, which he then called his “dream car.” He’s still got the Lee 1, but the Roadster will be leaving his garage. The defending Masters champ will donate all proceeds from the sale to Birdies for the Brave, a PGA Tour-supported national military outreach initiative.
