Padraig Harrington and Phil Mickelson: No, I'm not obsessed with Phil but this is his favorite track. And Harrington is the highest-ranked player in the field. Either one of them has to shoot low today to get back into contention. Surprisingly, the field is bunched in the middle. Once you get past Camilo Villegas and John Rollins at the top of the leaderboard, it wouldn't be hard for a player in the pack to jump into the top five with a good round. Catching the leaders would be a chore, but not impossible.

\nThe Cut: Because 84 players made the cut, another cut to the low 70 and ties will be made after today's round. Which means that players such as Y.E. Yang, at two over par, should play hard.

\nThe Weather: The forecast featured a 100% chance for rain and it already has Saturday morning. The skies are unsettled. It could clear up, or it could turn to crap. One forecast called for a chance of light hail. The tournament got lucky with weather yesterday when the rain clouds broke up. Can it happen two days in a row?
