Michael Jordan may have lost a step on the court, but his trash-talking game is still in its prime.
The Charlotte Hornets owner has been operating the team’s Twitter account today, a brilliant campaign dubbed #MJTakeover.
Keegan Bradley, a frequent golf partner of Jordan’s, took the opportunity to poke fun at the 51-year-old legend, who apparently has a poor record against the 2011 PGA Champion.
One of the best needlers in the history of professional sports, Jordan didn’t miss a beat. Three minutes after Bradley’s post, MJ responded.
.@Keegan_Bradley Last time I looked, you were wearing MY shoes. You don't see me wearing Air Keegans...— Charlotte Hornets (@hornets) October 28, 2014
Surely deflated by Jordan’s comment, Bradley appropriately retreated and acknowledged his defeat.
The real question is: How many shots is Jordan getting? And how many (thousands of) dollars are on the line?
