With droughts and water shortages in the West, water is becoming another kind of hazard for golf course operators. Last week, the USGA hosted a two-day "Water Summit" in Grapevine, Texas, to address the issues around water use in golf with course superintendents, course managers, researchers, municipal water managers and representatives from private industries.
