• Caddies: The base tip for your caddie is around $5 (about 100,000 Vietnamese dong); you can be more generous, but give her anything over $15 and she'll think you're Bill Gates. Also, keep about half your money in dollars and half in dong. Both currencies are accepted virtually everywhere, but dong are easier to use for tips, shopping and dining.
