Tour Edge Exotics XCG6 Driver
Category: Game-Improvement Drivers
Price: $349
WE TESTED: 9°, 10.5° with Graphite Design Tour AD graphite shaft; 9°, 10.5° with Matrix Ozik HD graphite shaft

PROS
DISTANCE: As long as most drivers tested and consistent on different types of hits; very long on the course, which is where it matters; good distance correction on off-center strikes.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Shots fly on a pro-style trajectory; it finds its share of fairways.
FEEL: Spring-like sensation makes it plain fun to hit; provides a crisp, compressed crack at impact; definitely can tell where on the face you make contact.
PLAYABILITY: Tends to produce a slightly lower trajectory and hot flight; shots bore through wind; more roll than many others.
LOOK: A favorite -- traditional, classy black clubhead and deep face provide good proportions.

CONS
Not as consistent or accurate as some other models; a few testers don’t care for the hard feel; lack of alignment aid bothers a few.

BOTTOM LINE: A long hitter that manages to look good doing it.

HOT STIX'S TAKE
Launch: Mid
Spin: Mid
A good match for low-ball hitters and slower swing speeds.
