From Golf Magazine (ClubTest, February 2010)
Category: Max Game-Improvement Drivers
We tested: 9°, 10.5° with UST Mamiya Series 65 graphite shaft
Company line: "Advanced heel-toe (HT) weighting is due to two internal weight cavities in the heel and two in the toe. The result is a lower, deeper center of gravity for higher, longer, more accurate shots. The club's expanded face size (15 percent larger than previous Bazooka models) provides a larger effective hitting area and an ultra-hot launch from more points on the face."
OUR TESTERS SAY:
PROS: Good basic club, no frills or thrills; works well for the everyman;
lightweight, comfortable feel throughout the swing; gives you a little
boost without making you pay a lot for it; easy to get the ball airborne
on a productive trajectory; the draw-bias head effectively minimizes
banana slices; commendable job maintaining distance on slight misses.
CONS: Middle-of-the-road for accuracy; no distinguishing features don't expect magnificent results; panelists prefer a hotter impact sensation and more correction on toe shots.
