From Golf Magazine (ClubTest, March 2010)
Category: Better-Player Irons
We tested: 3-PW with True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shaft
Company line: "This set is meant for better golfers who want more playability. A traditional chrome finish combined with our proprietary heat-treating process provides soft feel and consistency. Tungsten weights in the heel and toe areas add stability and forgiveness."
OUR TESTERS SAY:
PROS: One of the leaders in pure distance, particularly in the
long irons; above-average forgiveness all over the clubface;
spring-like, powerful sensation at impact; workable in both
directions with a consistent mid- to high trajectory; large
sole and heavy weight make it playable out of rough.
CONS: Doesn't provide the same sensitive feel at impact as other forged irons; a bit bulky at address, which can negatively affect greenside shots; doesn't seem like a huge upgrade over Srixon's previous forged cavity back.
