From Golf Magazine (ClubTest, April 2010)
We tested: Black Satin 52° loft/10° bounce, 54°/12°, 56°/10°, 56°/14°, 58°/6°, 58°/10°, 60°/6°, 60°/10° with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 steel shaft

Company line: "This wedge has everything the world's number one player wants in a short-game weapon. Its premium, forged clubhead is milled with aggressive 'High Rev' grooves to produce maximum spin for increased control and shot placement."

Our Testers say:
PROS: Moves the ball out of the sand easily; adept at controlling distances; good feel and forgiveness; club responds best to aggressive swings; high marks for its attractive look—the dark satin finish and classic shape give it a refined appearance.

CONS: A few testers feel the stock grip is too rough in one hand and too smooth in the other; higher handicappers find the wedge too exacting to use round after round.

From GOLF Magazine (August 2009)
Tom Stites, Director of Product Creation, Nike Golf: "The inspiration for VR Forged comes from years of designing wedges, as well as what we learn from Tiger and our Tour staff. We put these things together and marry them with the craftsmanship we have from 20-plus years of experience."

How it works: Better players will appreciate the look and feel of these forged carbon steel heads. Aggressive "high rev" grooves are milled to the Rules limit for increased shot control. The versatile, Tour-inspired heel grind allows for plenty of shotmaking from various lies.
