Three stainless steel plugs move the HS9's center of gravity lower and rearward.

Cobra's Speed Series driver has the second-largest market share among all big sticks (at press time). The company's new HS9 has the same Speed Series bells and whistles that have made the line such a success—a 460 cc head with a large and springy face, high inertial properties and rhomboid center pad—to accentuate ball speed and forgiveness. A lighter (than titanium) carbon composite crown and two composite sole pieces mean 16 additional grams are distributed along the rear of the sole. The payoff is a higher launch angle for longer carry. \n
