From Golf Magazine (ClubTest, March 2010)
Category: Max Game-Improvement Irons
We tested: 3-5 hybrid, 4-iron to PW with Aldila DVS-HL
graphite shaft
Company line: "This club offers '9-point face technology' to expand the sweet zone and promote consistent power. Its low-profile head and wide sole improve launch characteristics and maximize forgiveness."
Our Testers say:
PROS: Noted for its accuracy and consistency; stable
through impact, even from the rough; crisp feel on full
shots; hybrid long irons provide solid distance; high
trajectory throughout the set is especially good if you
have trouble getting the ball in the air; muscular,
pleasing look at address, less chunky than many others.
CONS: These dig more than you might expect; panelists prefer greater input (feel) on short shots; testers seek additional distance from mid-and short irons; clubs could be too light for stronger swingers.
From Sports Illustrated Golf+ Equipment Issue (February 8, 2010)
This low-profile design has a wide sole and a lower center of gravity to improve launch conditions.
