Golf Magazine's ClubTest is an annual proving ground for the latest in golf equipment. We recently asked 40 Regular Joes to tell us their opinion of the newest wedges, then used that information as the foundation for our 2011 wedge reviews. The testers evaluated wedges from the rough, fairway and bunkers, and then hit chips to greens. (Manufacturers sent a full complement of loft/bounce options.) Panelists provided feedback on Look, Feel, Distance Control, Playability and Overall impressions.
