From Golf Magazine (ClubTest, April 2010)
Classic 4Category: Blade Putters
We tested: 34", 35" shaft length
Company line: "The 17-4 stainless steel head features a hand-polished satin finish that minimizes glare. The precision-milled face provides a soft yet solid feel. Increased MOI limits unwanted twisting on off-center hits."
Our Testers say:
PROS: Nothing flashy here, but it performs fine; easy to use because feel and look are so familiar; soft click and immediate feedback signals a well-struck putt, and there's enough sensation on misses to promote stroke correction; offers adequate help for distance and direction.
CONS: Some testers find the clubhead to be a little light through the stroke; no special bells or whistles to roll the ball tighter or straighter; basic putter that looks ordinary; a bit more roll than anticipated on misses.

If you are in the market for a new putter but need to watch your pennies, be sure to check out the Cleveland Classic series. All three designs are reassuringly familiar, if not particularly original.
