Bridgestone Tour B330-RX Yellow Balls
From Golf Magazine (March, 2011)
IT'S FOR: All skill levels with swing speeds of 105 mph or lower.
SKINNY: This Tour B330-RX has the same construction, performance characteristics, etc. as the existing ball in the marketplace. The paint job (yellow vs. white) is the only difference. The core is 8 percent softer than in the original Tour B330-RX from 2008, which contributes to a higher launch, steeper descent angle, and improved stopping power on scoring shots. Bridgestone brass believes that it's easier to see a yellow ball than a white one.
1. The firm's three-tiered approach starts with 25 "ball fitting" teams that conduct "Bridgestone Ball Fitting Challenge" events across the country. The company ran 100,000 launch monitor-based fittings over the past three and a half years. Updated interactive software should enhance the fitting experience.
2. The "BFit" initiative enables you to chat live with one of Bridgestone's trained ball fitters. To access "BFit," go to bridgestonegolf.com, text BFIT to 55678 or call 877-411-BFIT.
