We tested: 3 (15°) and 5 (18°) with Aldila Wasabi graphite shaft; 3 (15°) and 5 (18°) with Matrix HD graphite shaft; Draw 3 (15°) and Draw 5 (18°) with Aldila Wasabi graphite shaft
Company line: "These woods are precision milled for exact design specs and an optimized center of gravity. Weight pads allow for two ball-flight options. The 'Standard' Fast 10 has the pad positioned rearward for a neutral ball flight, while the 'Draw' model has the pad in the heel for a draw-biased flight. We also increase sole curvature for more consistent ballstriking and playability in all lies."
OUR TESTERS SAY:
PROS: So proficient and simple to hit from different lies, especially out of the rough; accuracy is a strong suit; head squares up easily at impact; consistent, steady ball flight; pleasingly forgiving on misses; cushioned impact feel; a good alternative between hybrids and traditional fairway woods.
CONS: Many testers prefer more distance than these deliver; some panelists find feedback to be too muted; busy graphics on Matrix shaft can be a distraction.
