Adams Speedline 4G Ultra-Lite Driver

From Golf Magazine (March, 2011)
Category: Max Game-Improvement Drivers
We tested: 10°, 12° with Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara graphite shaft

Key Technologies: Lightweight club features an aerodynamic head and 46" shaft (it weighs just 44 grams) to increase clubhead speed. At 282 grams, it's the lightest one of the Speedline drivers.

OUR TESTERS SAY: A solid, dependable performer. It's a favorite for appearance, due to the sleek black head and clubface.

PROS
DISTANCE: Lightweight head and extra-long (46"), lightweight shaft give slower swingers an extra power boost; some testers pick up as much as 10 yards.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Most testers find that its mid launch and moderate spin help control dispersion on off-center hits.
FEEL: Good balance and control for such a light driver; smooth impact with little vibration.
PLAYABILITY: Repeating medium-high ball flight with slight draw bias.
LOOK: The traditional pear-shaped head with an all-black finish creates a sense of confidence at address; no bells or whistles here.

CONS
Some testers believe that a stiff flex shaft would be a useful option given the featherweight qualities of the club; overall weight is too light for a few testers — it makes them want to swing too hard.
