Now there's the Adams Idea Pro, which links hybrids with sweet-feeling cavity-back irons for skilled players. The package substitutes 20° and 23° hybrid clubs for the 3-iron and 4-iron, respectively. A 7-gram screw in the sole contributes to specific spin rates. This port is also used to fine-tune swing weight. (Kit not included; changing the screw should be done through a retailer.) The forged carbon steel irons (5-PW) have a wider sole and marginally thicker top line than true blades to create a more stable head through the hitting zone.
