"Lydia is an exceptional talent and a great addition to our staff," said Nick Raffaele, VP, Sports Marketing, Callaway Golf. "Last year we had several Pros win after successfully transitioning into our products and we're excited to see what Lydia can accomplish on the LPGA with the world's best clubs, balls and putter in the bag."Ko is coming off an incredible year that saw her rise to No. 4 in the women's world rankings. By the time Ko announced she was turning pro in October of 2013, she had already racked up four professional wins. Her victory at the ALPG Tour's Women's NSW Open in January of 2012 at the age of 14 made her the youngest golfer to win any professional event. She became the youngest ever to win an LPGA event at the 2012 CN Canadian Women's Open, and successfully defended her title in 2013.
"Lydia is digitally connected with golf enthusiasts across the world," said Harry Arnett, SVP, Marketing, Callaway Golf. "Her meaningful participation in the fast, interconnected network of golf makes her an exciting fit for our strategic objectives."
