Tagsunglasses_600x450 Tag Heuer 27° Air sunglasses $
The par-3 17th hole at Pebble Beach -- where Jack Nicklaus hit a 1-iron off the flagstick to seal his '72 U.S. Open victory -- plays directly into the sun in the afternoon. That’s one place where our next item from The Show floor– Tag Heuer’s 27° AIR sunglasses- would come in handy.
Known mainly for its sporty, high-end watches, including Tiger’s timepiece, Tag Heuer has designed these shades specifically for golfers. (The name comes from the angle at which the arms fold along their heavy-duty titanium hinges.) The glasses hug the curve of your head and feel like they would never slip during a swing.
The lenses are shatter-resistant, high-quality polycarbonate and come in 18 interchangeable shields. If you can't decide which is for you, consider the polarized photochromatic orange tint; as the sun gets brighter, these lenses get darker. All the lenses have a hydrophobic coating that makes sweat and water bead off quickly. -- David Dusek (Photo: David Walberg/SI)
