GLADSTONE, N.J. (AP) - American Morgan Pressel rallied from two holes down with three to play to eliminate No. 2 Na Yeon Choi on the first playoff hole after the third round of the Sybase Match Play Championship on Saturday.

Top-ranked Yani Tseng, No. 10 seeded Amy Yang and No. 12 seeded Angela Stanford lost in the morning round. That left No. 6 seeded Stacy Lewis as the only Top 10 player in the original field of 64.

Pressel, who has not finished better than a tie for 20th on the LPGA Tour this season, evened her match with birdies at Nos. 16 and 17 at the Hamilton Farm Club. The two-time winner on tour missed a birdie opportunity to win at the 18th hole but advanced when Choi bogeyed the first extra hole.

Tseng, who had won three times on the LPGA Tour this year, dropped a 3 and 2 decision when the 49th-seeded Kung birdied the 15th and 16th holes.

Lewis capped a 1-up win over 2010 Sybase champion Sun Young Yoo by hitting her third shot on the par 5, final hole within a foot of the cup.

U.S.Women's Open champion So Yeon Ryu won seven of the first nine holes en route to a 5 and 4 win over Katherine Hull of Australia.

Anna Nordqvist of Sweden won four of the final six holes in beating Yang 3 and 1. Vicky Hurst, who upset No. 5 ranked Cristie Kerr in the second round, was a 2 and 1 winner over Stanford in an All-American match.

Azahara Munoz of Spain advanced to the quarterfinal with a 2 and 1 win over Jodi Ewart of England. Ewart upset defending champion Suzann Pettersen in the first round.

Julieta Granada of Paraguay birdied the 17th hole to take the lead in a 1up win over Karine Icher of France.

In the quarterfinals, Granada (41) will face Kung, Ryu (13) will play Hurst (37), Pressel will meet Nordqvist and Lewis, the best American on tour, will face Munoz (19).
