The 2014 LPGA season may be over, but for Michelle Wie, the spotlight never dims.

That’s partly because she’ll make an appearance in an upcoming episode of the revival of the television classic Hawaii Five-0 which based on her Instagram feed, she seems to have filmed yesterday.

Wie’s cameo appearance, first reported by Golf Channel’s Tom Abbott during the telecast of the CME Group Tour Championship a few weeks ago, appears to have been facilitated by Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim. Wie and Kim are both Honolulu natives and close friends. Kim, 46, watched Wie win her first major championship at the 2014 U.S. Women's Open at Pinehurst in June.
