How much?! The winner of the Masters will get one giant paycheck

The Masters winner gets a lot more than a green jacket. They get a huge paycheck, too.

The Masters on Saturday morning announced an $11 million purse for the 82nd playing of the tournament, and the winner will receive $1.98 million, the same amount Sergio Garcia took home last year. Danny Willett and Jordan Spieth both won $1.8 million for winning in 2016 and 2015. The runner-up this year receives $1.188 million, and third place receives $748,000.
