Tommy Fleetwood put himself in position to contend at the BMW PGA Championship, and he can thank Wentworth’s par-5s for that—especially the fourth hole.
Fleetwood’s albatross on the par-5 fourth during Saturday’s third round pushed him to 4-under on the day and vaulted him to a 7-under 65. He sits at 11-under for the tournament and is three back of leaders Byeong Hun An and Francesco Molinari.
Fleetwood was 6-under on the course’s four par-5s Saturday. After the albatross—the third in the tournament’s history—he eagled the 12th hole before he finished birdie-par on the last two par-5s.
Check out the albatross below. He used a 7-iron from 198 yards.
