Five-time major champion and short-game wizard Phil Mickelson knows how to thrill golf fans even when he doesn’t have his A-game.

Amidst an up-and-down round of 69 Saturday at the Barclays, Mickelson got himself stuck with an awkward lie in a greenside bunker on the par-4 18th hole.

With the ball on the downslope of the bunker, Lefty turned his back to the hole and hit a flop shot that travelled back over his head toward the green, eventually landing back in the bunker.

Though the wid shot wasn’t quite a success, Mickelson would save par to finish at two under for the tournament.
