Phil Mickelson’s early-season PGA Tour schedule is starting to shape up.
According to reports from the Golf Channel and AZ Central, the five-time major champion has committed to play both the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February.
In 2016, Mickelson will try to end a lengthy title drought and capture his first victory since the 2013 British Open at Muirfield. He struggled to a T42 finish in Phoenix in 2015. His most recent appearance at Pebble came in 2014 when he placed T19. His last two non-major PGA Tour victories came at the 2013 Phoenix Open — his third Phoenix title — and the 2012 Pebble Beach Pro-Am, when he won for the fourth time in his career.
The 2016 Waste Management Phoenix Open will be held at TPC Scottsdale, February 4-7. The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am follows the next week, February 11-14.
