SPRINGFIELD, N.J. — Jimmy Walker won the 98th PGA Championship at Baltusrol will take home $1.8 million in prize money, matching the payouts from this year’s Masters and U.S. Open and the same as what Jason Day won for grabbing the 2015 PGA at Whistling Straits. Henrik Stenson won about $1.53 million for winning the 2016 British Open.
Second-place receives $1.08 million, third place gets $680,000, fourth $480,000 and fifth $400,000.
Those who made the cut but finish below 70th will be paid in diminishing increments of $100, starting with $17,900 for 71st. Players who missed the cut receive $3,000 each. Check out the full payout below.
