After years of unveiling new uniforms in college football and basketball, Nike announced this week it is now doing the same for college golf — with a twist.
With the men’s NCAA national championship beginning Friday at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, some of the top teams in the country will be sporting the new-look tops that include a novel feature: numbers.
It’s an uncommon look for the golf course, but was seen just days ago when the Stanford women’s team triumphed over Baylor in the national championship. Nike Tour Mesh hats are also included in the uniform.
Innovative as the look may seem, you won’t be able to purchase these to use during your round. As stated in Nike’s release, “These uniforms are not available for purchase and are specially designed for the Championship players.”
