Not long ago, Kevin Kisner was an unknown journeyman. But in 2015, on the cusp of a breakthrough, he made a name for himself while enduring sudden-death-playoff losses at the HBC Heritage, the Players Championship and the Greenbrier Classic. Finally, in November he won his first PGA Tour event, the RSM Classic, and cracked the top 20 in the Official World Ranking.

Fast forward to the present, and the 32-year-old is ranked 24th in the world and is seventh in FedExCup points.

Kisner has turned his career around in less than a year, and he’s earned his spot on the cover of GOLF’s June issue.

The University of Georgia alum has already won $2,578,280 on Tour this season and ranks 13th in birdie average, a testament to his superb iron play. In fact, flip through this month’s magazine, and he’ll show you a downswing move he’s used to sharpen his game, and how you can incorporate it into your own swing.
