Jordan Spieth’s post-Masters media tour was filled with plenty of humility. When it came to his golf matches with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, though, he didn’t hold back.
During an interview with Jim Rome on Showtime, the 21-year-old dished on his competitive matches with Romo, discussing how he generally wins plenty of money off his fellow professional athlete.
“The good news is he doesn’t swallow his pride and take a lot of strokes,” Spieth said. “He likes to play maybe like 2 or 3 a side, which means I’m usually on the winning end of that one.”
Just how much has he profited, though?
“Ha ha. Oh man. I don’t know. I can’t even count that high,” Spieth continued. “He’s a good friend and a great competitor so we have fun out there.”
A lot of fun for Spieth, at least.
