PGA Tour rookie Harold Varner III likes to have a good time.
Remember Varner sporting a Carolina Panthers jersey at this year’s Waste Management Phoenix Open and dabbing after making birdie on No. 16? Not ringing a bell? Well, maybe you will remember him after this.
Varner, who is playing in his first Players Championship, shot a 6-under 66 on Friday but was not all that thrilled with his putting, as he said during his post-round interview … through one of his headcovers.
Warning: Varner may have made the cut, but his ventriloquy skills sure didn’t.
