Freddie Jacobson Takes Advantage of Lucky Break at Bay Hill

March 20, 2016

Freddie Jacobson took advantage of a lucky break and closed the Arnold Palmer Invitational in style.

Playing his approach on the par-4 18th on Sunday, Jacobson missed the green to the right and was inches away from splashing into the water, but his ball hit off the rocks. Instead of ricocheting into the water, his ball shot across the green and ended up in the rough.

Then, from a tough lie, Jacobson pulled off a beautiful flop shot, and his ball just barely rolled into the cup for a birdie.

“Looked like a three all the way, didn’t it?” Dan Hicks joked.

Jacobson capped his week with a final-round 72 and finished 3-under for the tournament. You can watch the shot below.
