Davis Love III is going to be a busy man.

Love, who was just named the U.S. Ryder Cup captain for 2016, was named a captain’s assistant for the 2015 Presidents Cup by captain Jay Haas, joining Fred Couples in the same capacity. Love was a playing member of six Presidents Cup teams and was a captain’s assistant in 2013 to Couples.

“I’m ready to help Jay and the team as much as I can as a captain’s assistant,” Love said. “Jay and I were successful as assistants for the last Presidents Cup in 2013, and I am very excited to join him and the U.S. Team in South Korea this fall. I love being in the team room and positively impacting the U.S. side anyway I can. As the season progresses, I look forward to playing with some of the U.S. team as I still play on the PGA Tour quite a bit. But I am happy to help Jay and the team however I can.”

Nick Price named Mark McNulty and Tony Johnstone as his two captain’s assistants for the International Team, to go along with vice captain K.J. Choi.

As long as the gang is getting back together, what is stopping 2013 stars Sammy the Squirrel and the Muirfield Village streaker from making the trip to Korea?

The 2015 Presidents Cup will be held Oct. 6-11 at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon City, South Korea.
