Things are going pretty well for Jon Rahm right now. He’s arguably the best young player in golf, he helped the Europeans win the Ryder Cup (beating Tiger Woods in the process), and he’s co-leading the Hero World Challenge after a nine-under 62 on Friday. He’s also engaged to his college sweetheart Kelley Cahill — and she’s got a massive engagement ring to show for it.
Don’t believe us? Check it out in the third slide in the Instagram picture below:
After his round on Friday, Rahm discussed his engagement and the couple’s upcoming wedding, which he says will be small:
“There is [a date we have in mind], but we’re trying to take it slow and keep it pretty small, to be honest. We’re really thinking of doing a small ceremony in Spain just because a lot of my family members can’t fly all the way to the U.S. and vice versa, where a lot of her family members can’t go all the way to the Spain. So, we’re thinking we’ll do something small in Spain and then a couple months later do a ceremony in the U.S.”
Sounds lovely, and congratulations to the happy couple!
