Producers of ABC's reality TV show "The Bachelor" say they are pursuing 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott, according to E! Online's Rebecca Macatee and Kristin Dos Santos.
On Sunday, the gorgeous, 32-year-old Australian golfer won The Masters (sorry Tiger!), and from what we Internet people can surmise, he's single! You know what that means: He should be The Bachelor.
Robert Mills, the reality dating show's producer, first proposed the idea on Twitter, writing, "So……Adam Scott as the next #Bachelor?? What say you, #Bachelornation?"
Tall, wealthy, handsome and single, Scott, 32, fits the mold for "The Bachelor" stars, and he has been involved in high-profile romances with movie actress Kate Hudson and tennis star Ana Ivanovic [above right].
A source who works on the show tells E! News exclusively, "We are definitely going to pursue [Scott]. So far, no meeting's been set but we're trying. He could be a perfect fit…We're also considering other people Bachelor fans already know."
Despite the producers' enthusiasm, PGA Tour observers would be very surprised if the low-key, private Scott agreed to appear on the show. Photo: Adam Scott and Ana Ivanovic at the 2011 Presidents Cup.
