1997 Ryder Cup at Valderrama In his first appearance at the Ryder Cup, and just months after his breakthrough win at the Masters, Woods disappointed with a 1-3-1 record. Sunday marked the first and only time Woods lost a Ryder Cup singles match -- he fell 4 and 2 to Costantino Rocca.

1999 Ryder Cup at The Country Club At the "Battle of Brookline," Woods had a mediocre record of 2-3-0, but he won his singles match on a Sunday that saw the U.S. stage an improbable comeback to win the Cup. To date, it's the only time Woods has been part of a winning Ryder Cup team.
