'I never change clubs, and if I was going to do something for the Masters, I would've done it before Doral. Once I find what I like, I use it everywhere. I always travel with a backup driver, though. It's the same model with a different shaft.' 'Augusta National makes you hit every club in the bag. I like to have a five-wood if I need to hit a high shot into a green, so I may put in a five-wood with a little more loft than usual.' 'The beauty of Augusta is that you have to hit every shot well, and you have to hit every shot well all week. I won't make any changes in my bag, but I'll work on controlling spin with my wedges. If you spin the ball and it catches a ridge, it's going to roll a long way.' DRIVER: Nike STR8-FIT (9.5°) with Mitsubishi Fubuki X shaft FAIRWAY METALS: Nike SQ Dymo (15° and 19°) with Mitsubishi Fubuki X shaft HYBRID: Nike Sumo2 (20°) with Graffaloy Epic shaft IRONS: (4-PW) Nike Victory Red Split Cavity with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts SAND WEDGE: Nike Victory Red (54°, 60°) PUTTER: Nike prototype BALL: Nike One Tour

'I'll decide on Wednesday, in Augusta, whether to carry a five-wood or a two-iron. I've carried a five-wood only about four times in the last five years. Augusta is one of the weeks I always take it to see if it works, since a high, long shot is advantageous there.' DRIVER: Cobra S9-1 Pro D (10.5°) with Aldila VooDoo XVS8 shaft FAIRWAY METALS: Cobra S9-1 Pro (15° and 18°) with Fujikura Sapphire shafts IRONS: (3-9) King Cobra Pro MB; with True Temper Precision FM shafts PITCHING WEDGE: Titleist Vokey Design (50°) SAND WEDGE: Titleist Vokey Spin Milled (55°, 60°) PUTTER: Scotty Cameron by Titleist prototype BALL: Titleist Pro V1

"I may put a five-wood in the bag instead of my hybrid. You need one at 15, the 13th and the 2nd. If they move back the tees on number 4, my hybrid isn't going to get there. I'll put new wedges in the bag for more spin." "The only thing I change is my 5-wood or 2-iron. In fast conditions, I used to be able to chase a 2-iron [tee shot] down there on number 7 (450-yard par-4), but that's no longer the case. Now the only time we monkey around with the 2-iron is if number 4 (240-yard par-3) is playing under certain conditions. I hit my 5-wood about 10 to 15 yards farther than my 2-iron—a pretty big gap between my 3-iron and 5-wood—so sometimes I'll put in a two-iron just for that shot on number 4."
