She has been a teacher for over 15 years, splitting time between New York and Florida.

The game runs in Stenzel's family. Her grandfather was a PGA Professional and her father played on the PGA Tour.

In her senior year at Furman University in South Carolina, she helped the women's golf team to a second place finish in the NCAA finals. She later played on the Futures Tour, European Tour, Asian Tour, South African Tour and Australian Tour.

Stenzel runs the Kellie Stenzel Golf Academy at The Town of Palm Beach Golf Course in Palm Beach, Florida.

"After college, I played as a professional for a few years, and I loved that. But my personality really matches teaching better. So I started teaching shortly out of college, and it really suited me. I get to help people, and I love that."
