Presidents Cup live coverage: How to watch the 2019 Presidents Cup on Friday

December 13, 2019

The 2019 Presidents Cup has already reached the halfway point, and the action is just starting to heat up, with the International team holding three-point advantage to begin Day 3. You can find everything you need to know about how to watch the third day of the 2019 Presidents Cup below.

How to watch the Presidents Cup: Day 3

Ten matches have been played over the first two days at Royal Melbourne, but now things will kick into high gear on Saturday (Friday for U.S. viewers). Eight points are up for grabs across eight matches, which means either team could take control of the event with a solid performance on Day 3.

The Internationals currently lead 6 1/2 to 3 1/2 after splitting the second session with the Americans. The third day of play consists of two sessions of four matches each. The first session will feature the four-ball format, and one big name on the U.S. side will be sitting out: Captain Tiger Woods.

Despite winning both of his matches alongside Justin Thomas, Tiger will sit out the opening session on Day 3. Thomas, however, will tee it up in the first match at 3:02 p.m. ET alongside Rickie Fowler, facing off against the International duo of Marc Leishman and Haotong Li.

Patrick Reed, who some predicted would sit a lot this week in light of his cheating controversy, will play in his third-straight session with Webb Simpson, even though the pair lost both of their opening matches.

Once the four-ball matches are complete, captains Woods and Ernie Els will meet to determine the matchups for the second session of the day, which will be foursomes.

Both Day 3 sessions will be broadcast on Golf Channel in the United States, so that’s where you’ll need to tune in to watch the action on Friday. You can watch online at NBCSports.com with cable credentials, or by signing in to your PGA Tour Live account. Check out the TV schedule and list of Day 3 matches and tee times below.
