Rapper Cardi B naming next album ‘Tiger Woods’ in honor of his Masters victory

October 3, 2019

Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, better known to the world as rapper Cardi B, is planning a golfy splash with her next album.

Announced in an informal setting — while she had makeup done on an Instagram live story — Cardi B says she’s naming her next album “Tiger Woods” in honor of the golfer’s crowning victory at the 2019 Masters this April.

“Everything I’m working on right now is straight to my album. Straight to my album,” Cardi B said. “And I think I’m going to name my album ‘Tiger Woods.'” The video below has NSFW language.

“I’m gonna name my album — I think — Tiger Woods because remember when everybody was talking s–t? On Tiger Woods? Like ‘Oh, blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, this. Blah, blah, that. And then he f—–g came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’m gonna name my album.”

You heard it here first! Cardi B did sound like the name wasn’t exactly set in stone, but it’s at least a working title for now. The album is not expected to be finished soon, but it is very much in the works.

Until then, Cardi B fans, you can watch highlights from Tiger’s momentous win below.
