Michelle Wie had a rough break on the course last month, but she had a lot to be happy about over the weekend: Wie and boyfriend Jonnie West got engaged.
Wie shared the news on her Instagram on Sunday night, posting three photos with the caption: My person for life!!!!!!!!! #WieGoesWest @jonniewest4.”
Wie, 29, and West, 30, went public with their relationship in January. West is the director of basketball operations for the Golden State Warriors, and he’s the son of basketball legend Jerry West.
Wie last played on the LPGA tour at the HSBC Women’s World Championship on Feb. 28, but she withdrew midway through her opening round with an injury to her hand, the same one she had surgery on last year.
Wie has long been one of the premier faces of women’s golf. She’s won five times on tour, including one major, the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open.
