The PGA Tour is heading south of the border this week to more tropical climates, as the Mayakoba Golf Classic gets underway at El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The field features some of the biggest names in the sport, but who do bettors expect will come out on top this weekend?
So far, that answer appears to be Rickie Fowler. The 29-year-old Fowler has the highest odds of winning at 8/1, followed closely behind by Tony Finau at 12/1. Currently ranked at No. 9 in the world, Fowler finished tied for fourth at the Shriners Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas last weekend.
World No. 14 Jordan Spieth has the third-highest odds at 14/1, while Gary Woodland comes in 16/1 odds. Woodland earned himself a top-10 finish last weekend at the Shriners Open.
