As if the iconic par-3 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass wasn’t hard enough.
During Tuesday’s practice round, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler decided to have some fun and attempt to hit the island-green playing with their weak hands.
Although he is actually right-handed in everything but golf, Phil Mickelson’s shot left much to be desired, reportedly making a familiar splash in the pond. Johnson and Fowler then borrowed lefty clubs from Phil for their shots, with mixed results.

No matter the outcomes, the trio’s opposite-handed swings looked incredibly natural, an amazing feat as anyone who has attempted to swing a golf club with his weak hand knows.
