Eamon Lynch

Eamon Lynch's assignments have taken him from the infamous Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana, where he wrote about a new golf course built by inmates, to New Zealand and Australia, where he shadowed the noted course designer Tom Doak, and even to Ballybunion in the dead of winter, where he delved into the "Clinton cult" that erected the world's first statue of our 42nd president. He has also profiled players like Raymond Floyd, Padraig Harrington and David Feherty, most of whom still speak to him. Prior to joining GOLF Magazine he was a reporter at Vanity Fair and the New York Daily News, and he wrote extensively for a wide range of national magazines.
